Our mission
Non-governmental the organization "Philosophical and Humanistic Association" (NGO “FGA”) was established in 2001 and since then has been conducting its activities with the direct support and cooperation of the Institute of Philosophy named after H.S. Skovoroda of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as a non-political, non-commercial, voluntary public association aimed at the further development of civil society in Ukraine, the development of humanitarian disciplines, support of achievements scientific activity of domestic scientists-social scientists.
The main goal of the FGA is to promote the scientific research of specialists in the fields of philosophy and religious studies, to hold events to support talented youth.
The FHA implements program goals through:
- publishing house of scientific specialist edition "Multiversum. Philosophical Almanac" (since 1998), Category B, specialties: "Philosophy" (033) and "Religious Studies" (031);
- publication of scientific collective monographs on the most pressing issues of our time, placement of their electronic versions both on our website and in international scientometric databases;
- organization and holding of all-Ukrainian and international scientific conferences, publication of collections of theses indexed by CrossRef - with the aim of spreading the achievements of Ukrainian scientists in the international scientific community;
- holding thematic online seminars, webinars, round tables for the purpose of discussing urgent industry and interdisciplinary problems;
- we invite outstanding Ukrainian and foreign philosophers and religious scholars to hold lectures and exchange thoughts with the audience after them;
- we support our own YouTube channel - for those who could not join the events being held;
- нour dream is to collect a large electronic Library of modern Ukrainian philosophical thought on the platform of the Federal Academy of Sciences from modern studies (monographs) of Ukrainian scientists in the fields of "Philosophy" and "Religious Studies", which are currently forced to be published in small editions and for this reason are simply inaccessible to a wide audience, which is an unacceptable evil for national science.
